About My Work
Who I Work With
As a counsellor, I regularly work with adults exploring their Neurodiversity. As a late diagnosed Autistic and ADHD person myself, I appreciate how valuable it can be to have an informed, non judgemental place to do this. So whether you are curious about neurodiversity, recently identified or considering an assessment, I can offer a space to navigate this.
As a Supervisor I work with therapists at all stages of their careers, adapting my approach to fit your needs.
I also provide supervision to those working with or offering support to other people in roles other than counselling and psychotherapy.
As a late diagnosed AuDHD therapist myself, I have an understanding of the specific issues that can arise for the neurodivergent therapist population, such as burnout, imposter syndrome and questions around how much of yourself to share with clients
.
I also provide supervision for allistic therapists/ helpers who are themselves working with autistic clients.

About Me and How I Work
As both a therapist and supervisor my values and approach are holistic and anti oppressive. I am committed to: antiracism; gender, sexuality and relationship diversity (GSRD); and disability rights.
THERAPY: I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and neuro-affirming way.
My intention is to work with you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
In order that you can get a feel for working with me, I offer a free, no obligation, 20 minute zoom 'discovery' call, where we can meet each other and decide if we want to begin working together.
If you decide to work with me, we will then negotiate a contract/way of working that is tailored to you. Depending upon what you need/want/bring we can decide on the number of sessions and manner in which we work. I am able to work short or long term and to take the work to whatever depth suits you.
Counselling sessions are 50 minutes long and typically at the same time each week. However to honour diverse communication and processing styles, as well as shift workers, other patterns of working can be explored.
I work online using zoom.
SUPERVISION: As a Supervisor, I set out to create a collaborative, safe space for fellow neurodivergent therapists and coaches, in which you can grow as a practitioner and feel supported in your work.
My approach to Supervision is humanistic with a Person-centred foundation. I am also able to provide purely Person-centred Supervision to practitioners of this model.
I regularly work with Autistic, ADHD, Highly Sensitive (HSP) and other neurodivergent practitioners, as I employ a neuro-affirming approach.
In addition to providing regular monthly or twice monthly supervision, I also offer Top up and consulting supervision. These sessions can be arranged on an ad hoc basis, after an initial foundation session has been undertaken.
I have experience supervising individually and in groups, within organisations and privately.
I am trauma informed in my practice, with experience working with homicide bereavement, complex grief and abuse.
I provide supervision online over zoom for both online and "in-person" therapists. I bring an awareness of the differences in these ways of working to my supervision with understanding of the specific issues of risk and jurisdiction connected to online therapy.
I also offer supervision to allistic therapists working with neurodivergent clients.
